During the heydays of contemporary Nigerian artists, art scholars like Uche Okeke, Chike Aniakor, and Obiora Udechukwu, to mention a few, used visual metaphors to portray some of the Igbo folklore, particularly in the form of Uli lines. Today, digital media in Nigeria is not farfetched.

However, much experiments and visual expressions of Igbo folklore have not been explored using these modern digital media. In view of this, this study uses Adobe Photoshop CS4, a digital draw and paint tool, to illustrate some of the notable folktales in Igbo oral tradition. Vector and Raster techniques of computer graphics will be employed and discussed. Basic information on digital illustration will also be enumerated in the project.

This piece of information will be useful to art Scholars, art teachers and art practitioners at large who intend to develop their potentials in illustration technique.

Ayesha A Anas, M. This research project addresses two significant challenges that relate to primary-grade English Language Learners ELLs. The first challenge addresses vocabulary learning as the leading problem for ELLs to gain linguistic proficiency.

Through the content analysis of 36 sources, the researcher found ten ideas of instructional materials to design and create with Adobe Spark. These materials combine best practices in vocabulary instruction and evidence-based instructional design principles to enhance their effectiveness. A significant limitation of this content analysis is the absence of empirical-based research to investigate effects of the materials to determine whether they lead to positive gains in vocabulary acquisition.

The researcher further includes recommendations on conducting experiments to investigate their effectiveness on student engagement, retention, and achievement. Sessions included insightful and inspiring keynote speaker presentations, formal reports of research and iPad implementation activities, exploratory working sessions, and skill-based, hands-on workshops.

Attendees represented 28 US states and 11 countries across five continents in diverse roles such as researchers, faculty, administrators, IT specialists, and students from a wide variety of academic disciplines.
